Our Ashland Organic Wool Topper consists of 2 inches of our certified organic wool batting and is encased in certified organic cotton sateen. This topper is certified organic by Oregon Tilth. Add this topper to any bed to provide you with the comfort and breathability of natural wool. If you would like to add extra cushion to your existing mattress, this is the perfect item for you. Lightweight and easy to care for, we highly recommend topping the all wool mattress with our 100% Certified Organic Wool Mattress Topper.
Though this wool-filled, cotton-encased mattress topper will compress between 30% to 40% within the first 6 months of regular use, wool always retains its comfort and natural resilience.
Caring for your Ashland Organic Wool Topper
- Allow your bedding to breathe daily: in order to let the most active areas of your bedding breathe, pull back your comforter and blankets for at least an hour or two after you wake up.
- Fold your wool-filled, cotton-encased mattress topper down whenever you change your sheets: pull your mattress topper down over the foot of your bed to allow the very middle of your bed to air out and release moisture
- Seasonal sun and air: once each season place all our wool bedding in the sun to naturally deodorize, bleach, disinfect, and revitalize your bedding.
