Care Instructions:  

• Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water
• Use mild wool detergent like Eucalan
• Gently squeeze excess water, do not wring. Lay flat on a towel and roll gently to get rid of excess water
• Dry flat
• Iron low heat as needed

About the Maker:

Monika MacDougall is the creator of Wool Bugs. Started in 2018 at her home studio in Ashland, Oregon, Monika had a long-standing profession as a commercial knitwear designer, working with companies such as Nordstrom and Sophie Steller Studio, before her transition as an independent artisan.

Every piece in Monika’s Wool Bugs collection is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted from start to finish. Unlike mass-produced items, her process begins with the raw material itself—using high quality, ethically sourced, 100% natural fiber yarns such as Cashmere, Lambswool and Merino. Utilizing vintage hand-operated knitting looms, her “slow fashion” approach allows her to maintain absolute control over stitch consistency and tension. The results can be seen in professional, high-quality finishes in every product she makes that far exceeds the durability of factory-made knits.
