I had down pillows for the longest time and thought they were great. I already slept with a wool blanket and it keeps me the perfect temperature as I sleep hot. Thought to give these a try after looking for a wool mattress. Happy with me bed currently but it’s only a matter of time till I make that switch.
But let me tell you, these pillows are the right amount of everything. They’re soft but firm. Warm but don’t trap heat. They hold their shape well. As they do warm up the soften and almost mold to contour the position your laying in. They’re absolutely wonderwool (pun intended). If you like wool and are considering these pillows, just go for it. You won’t be dissatisfied. They also have hand written tags which I thought was a nice touch.
This is comforting and keeps body contact warm and cozy.
I have used them for a few months now. They are very soft on the skin. I dry them on top of my counter in the bathroom. It goes fast.
Firstly, I have to say that I ***love*** every single item I’ve ordered from Shepherd’s Dream - pillows, comforters, raw wool healing scarves, and now this wool mattress. I sleep so much more soundly on this mattress. Absolutely love it. I’ve been sewing my whole life and am pretty Type A, and am always impressed with the quality of construction, materials, and design of Shepherd’s Dream products. Thank you for listing clearance items with imperfections at a reduced price - so appreciate that you do this, for multiple reasons.
I wasn't sure how this pillow would work for me, but I needn't have worried! No matter how I lay the pillow provided firm, yet giving, support. Most importantly, my head isn't getting hot! I highly recommend this pillow.

The perfect thickness!
I have the 3 inch thickness on one mattress and the 2 inch on another. I like the 2 inch as well as the 3 inch - both equally as comfy. In my opinion, for a single sleeper who primarily sleeps in one spot, the 2 inch seems to wear more evenly.
I reached out with questions and the customer service was excellent and I really appreciated the cute little note and smiley face that was drawn on the tag of my topper. Such a personal touch.

Very nice pillows! I'm pretty picky about my pillows and I like these very much. Expensive but worth it for me
I'm so happy I treated myself to this neck pillow. I tend to have shoulder tension and pain from time to time due to a mild injury. This winter was the worst with the pain I was experiencing so I decided to get a supportive pillow that was thoughtfully crafted and I'm so happy I found Shepard's Dream. I haven't had any pain since sleeping with this pillow. Now I can't imagine sleeping without it. So grateful, thank you!
I have not tried sleeping without this layer, but I am certain, given the fact that our last bed was memory foam, that this base contributes greatly to the comfort of the mattress. I’m glad I bought it.
Everything I’ve bought from Shepherd’s Dream has been high quality and worth every penny. I’ve bought a topper, wool blanket, ashland pillow and dream pillow. They are all great, but the Dream pillow is worth every penny and more. If you’re thinking about it, do it! It’s an investment in yourself
I bought the foam base, the wool mattress and the topper. We’ve been sleeping on it for several weeks and really like this combo. It is very comfortable. One thing I really like about this combo is that it is very easy to work with. I had ordered another wool mattress that turned out to be not only uncomfortable, but very difficult to work with because it was very, very heavy. It was very difficult to put fitted sheets on it, and needed to be turned regularly, which was difficult for us to accomplish. That mattress had springs, which while done differently than the old standard, still caused me to have issues with pressure points. I love that this mattress has nothing resembling a spring. Yes all the pieces need turning, flipping and occasional airing, but the individual pieces are pretty easy to maneuver, even for old people like us who don’t have great strength. The turning, flipping, etc. do take some work, but it’s not much and that little extra is a small price to pay for having a bed we really enjoy sleeping in.
I ordered the standard size in the medium weight. It was beautifully made. I realized I needed the heavier weight given that it will compress over time. I highly recommend it.
The combination of the wool mattress on the Cascade Latex Base is just heaven!
I was gifted these at the same time I bought two other brands of cotton face wipes and these have far outlasted the other brands. They are made of the same material as the Shepherd's Dream Paper Towels, which also have lasted a very long time. Super soft and absorbent, they have not come apart and I use them for everything I might use a disposable cotton pad. Highly recommend purchasing the cotton mesh bag as well to keep them from getting lost in the washer. I dry them on a towel to keep them from curling up in the dryer. Buying more soon as gifts for friends and family!

I bought these wool puddle pads for my kitties to sleep on. Eli and Huxley love the soft warm wool. It goes folded right into their little cat beds.oh, just thought the wool was DIRTY compared to pads previously bought
Everything for the frame came in 3 packs. Very very well packed. Getting the packaging off was harder than putting the bed together. After it was together my wonderful wool mattress fit exactly and the whole bed is so comfortable. I recommend this bed frame for any of the wool mattresses. I'm a very happy customer.
The wool puddle pads I received had a lot of grass and other material mixed into the wool, which created areas that were uncomfortable and sharp to the touch.
I reached out to customer service to ask if this was normal, and they said it was natural to have some of this mixed in the wool. I increased my review because they did offer to send one with less of this material in it.
Overall, kind of disappointed because the product pictures don't show this nor does the description talk about this as something to expect.
Tennis ball smell but once mattress on top you can't smell it.
Size of pad is a little bigger than mattress dimentions. This should be clear on website.
Discovering and falling in love with Needle Felting I was in need of some core wool. I am so happy that I discovered Shepherd's Dream. It came excellently pack for one thing and the quality is fantastic - so soft and clean. Great value for money. I had a question about my order and got excellent customer service too. Will certainly be back for more and I highly recommend Shepherd's Dream Craft Wool especially for needle felting core wool .
