With solid wood fir slats placed every 1.5″ throughout the width of the Custom Box Insert, this frame creates ideal air flow and support for the all wool mattress. The insert can be ordered with regular wood slats or our latex padded slats. If you choose to order it with regular wood slats, latex can be added to your slats at any time if extra cushion is desired. This quality crafted Custom Box Insert Frames are finished with AFM Safecoat Polyureseal that preserves, protects and brightens the wood. When ordering a custom box insert, please provide us with the following information via email. We need to know which height you would prefer, 5 ½” or 7 ½”. Take 3 measurements of the width of your current frame; the top, middle and bottom so we can allow for any variations in width. Also, provide the measurement of each length of the frame; left side and right. Make sure that all of these measurements are taken from the inside dimensions of your frame so that the custom box insert will fit perfectly inside.
