Our Craft Wool is perfect for all of those arts and crafts you have been planning to make—from needle felting to doll making to handmade stuffies. EcoWool® is a pleasure to work with for its cleanliness, softness and resiliency.

Our wool batting is extra clean when it comes off our carding machines and has low residual vegetable matter in it, but small pieces of organic cotton thread may sneak into the batting from our production workshop.

Our Craft Wool is both ethical and sustainable. These are farms we have very close relationships with and we share the same values.

Excellent Value for Money

Discovering and falling in love with Needle Felting I was in need of some core wool. I am so happy that I discovered Shepherd's Dream. Wonderful wool!

This is my third order of craft wool. I'm allergic to kapok and buckwheat hulls so I can't order meditation pillows, zabutons, etc., from the companies that make them. I order the covers from these companies and use Shepherd's Dream craft wool for the filling. If you're sensitive to wool odors, this is probably a good option. It's only got a mild wool smell right out of the bag, unlike other companies that their finished products that straight up trigger allergies. The wool is definitely worth the price. I plan to order their pillows next. The shipping was fast and the packaging was great.

Wonderful wool

We love this wool! It is great for stuffing and creating a base for felted animals etc. It creates a nice firm base to apply the more expensive colored wool.
